CCTF News
The next General Meeting of the CCTF will take place on 19th June. For details, click on Newsletters and then click on the June 2008 newsletter.
Cornwall is a big county geographically, and tourism operators are busy people. It is therefore not feasible to have regular meetings of the full membership. However, it is very important that the Executive of the CCTF keeps in touch with the so-called 'rank and file membership'. We are doing this in several ways:
John James, Development Manager for the CCTF, is available to attend meetings of your full association or Executive Committee, whether daytime or evening. That way you can keep him informed of the real issues that you have in your area or sector, and he can keep you up to date with the wider picture.
The Newsletter is produced every two months. It is circulated to every association in membership, with a plea to the secretaries/chairs to ensure that it is then sent on to all members.
In addition, when there is an urgent matter, we send out a bulletin to each association. This is usually done when we are being asked, as an industry, to comment on burning issues of the day, e.g. transportation in the county, the Tourism Forum Business Plan, etc.
And now, we have created this website. All bulletins, newsletters, minutes of meetings, etc., will be posted as they happen. A lot of the information will be downloadable for you to read at your leisure - if you have any!
