Current consultations

In March 2006 we responded to the Lyons Inquiry about their suggestion for a tourism tax, also known as a bed tax. We oppose this. In March also, we responded to the First Great Western draft timetable. We support the extra through trains to our county, but oppose the suggested cuts to the branch lines timetables.
